Get in touch with us and learn more about Helping Hands of Dawlish. Discover our journey and history on our About Us page. Visit us today! A LITTLE HISTORY ABOUT HELPING HANDS of DAWLISH Our Journey HELPING HANDS of Dawlish was originally established in October 1986 in response to a need for a reliable and trustworthy Independent Living and Mobility Aid provider. Over the ensuing years it became more evident that so many of our Clients were wanting a wider range of "practical aids" so that they could remain in their own homes independently. Seeing this need, we rented a small local shop and further developed a Retail Base in our lovely home town of Dawlish. After 2 years it became clear that a larger, more suitable property was needed in the Town Centre and so we moved to our High Street shop, where we have remained since 1999 - serving our Community. It has been a very rewarding journey and the ultimate aim has never changed to this day, providing practical help in whatever way we can, to our Customers. Our shop stocks a wide range of solutions for Independent Living and a wide and varied range of Mobility Hire Equipment, whether you are looking for short or long term hire. Everyone is welcome to pop in to our high street shop and discuss any items they may need, discreetly and confidentially. If you prefer to shop online then our website may be of help. Our shop is regularly updated with new stock to keep up with demand and if an item you require is not available then we will always endeavour to source it from one of our reputable suppliers for you. We have loved sharing our journey with you and thank you for all your support over the last 40 years. AS A RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS WE HOLD A VALID CERTIFICATE IN COMPLIANCE REGULATIONS.
